The Croydon Best Start PIP is supported by the local authority and Croydon Drop In (CDI).  Croydon Best Start PIP is a service for parents-to-be and parents of babies up to 24 months, and their infants.

Families who are referred must live in Croydon. Our service aims to provide help for families within the local community to build stronger parent-infant bonds and positive relationships. We offer the primary caregiver (usually the mother) a range of therapeutic interventions and support to develop a secure attachment within the parent-infant relationship. We work closely with other professionals in Croydon who support families with babies within the first 1001 critical days; which means that anyone working with families during this period is welcome to use our service to discuss concerns about the parent-infant relationship. We work in the home and in a variety of community settings, such as Children Centres, hospitals and voluntary sector settings.

Croydon Best Start PIP takes referrals from across the borough and a Request for Service Form can be obtained by contacting us.

We currently offer parent infant therapy, key work support and the Going Mellow programme.
